Academy 21 is Nike’s new training range, taking over from the popular Academy 19, and we’ve got a lot of time for it. We’ve got new Midlayers, track tops, tech pants, training tops, polos and beyond. All of which come in a wide range of colours, as well as women’s fit options.

Academy 21: Training Tees & Polos
If you’re looking for a versatile and stylish training shirt then look no further than the Academy 21 Training Top, featuring raglan style sleeves and mesh panels to help ventilation. It also features the hollowed out Nike swoosh, which we became familiar with from the Academy 19 range. A great value option either as a team performance tee or an addition to your individual training collection.
Or if you’re after something a bit smarter, the new Academy 21 Polo strikes the perfect balance between a performance garment and a traditional polo shirt. Dri-FIT technology promotes breathability, while a fold-over collar and double button provide a clean-cut look.
Nike Academy 21: Training & Tracksuit Tops
Building a team identity is about more than just what you wear on the pitch. Turning up to matches and training in a fresh set of team tracksuits looks professional and lets the opposition know you mean business. Especially when you’re donning the Swoosh. Even if you’re feeling a little worse for wear from the night before, it’s all about appearances…
If a good old fashioned team tracksuit top is what you’re after then you are catered for with a number of options from this range. There are two track tops to choose from – ‘Knitted’ and ‘Woven’. The knitted version provides a slightly closer fit with a stretchier feel than the woven jacket. Whichever material you go for, both feature zip pockets, Dri-FIT technology and are guaranteed to elevate your team’s trainingwear.
If you’re after something a little different to the traditional tracksuit jacket then check out the Academy 21 Midlayer. If a tracksuit jacket and a sweatshirt got together and made love this is what you would get… Ok a bit weird but you get the point. This year’s incarnation of the classic midlayer features a ¼ zip for ventilation. Other notable benefits are stretchy Dri-FIT material for supreme comfort and thumbholes which keep your sleeves in place and also just look pretty cool.

Much like the tracksuit tops, there are also woven and knit options when it comes to the bottom half of your new team ensemble. The Academy 21 Tech Knit Pants come with all of the comfort, style and versatility of the always popular Tech Pants that came before them. But if you’re after a slightly more traditional, looser fitting tracksuit bottom, then the Academy 21 Woven Track Pants are the ones for you.
