Back in July, as part of our Summer Series, we had an absolute ball hosting 10 girls and women’s football teams from all over the country at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Elite Football Performance Centre.
It was a day-long feast of football, fun and sun on the south coast. The event proved a memorable experience for all involved and hopefully provided some additional inspiration to the lucky bunch of players in attendance.
One of the big highlights of the day was a very special Q&A with Brighton midfielder Libby Bance, hosted by the brilliant football influencer, Nancy Baker.
It’s not every day that you get to quiz a professional footballer on topics as varied as balancing training with school-work and whether she likes pineapple on pizza!
Many thanks to Nancy for being such an engaging host and to Libby for spending some time with us and providing such words of wisdom to the budding young players watching on.
