We’re delighted to confirm that we’ve teamed up with another YouTube football team sensation, this time in the form of Kitchener FC.
The Kitchener team have a distinct work ethic (and talent to boot), which is well aligned with Kitlocker’s strategy of partnering with YouTube’s best grassroots football teams. We’re safe in saying this after they secured a 1-1 draw against Sunday League Galacticos SE Dons.
Some of you may recognise Kitchener FC from their collaboration with Pep Guardiola, where they trained with the Spaniard at Manchester City’s training ground. Is this the reason for their dominance in their home league in Ipswich? We’re not sure, but either way, what an experience for the team.

The Design
Speaking of which, we’ve pushed the boundaries of what our new technology can do, allowing us to really elevate a Nike teamwear jersey into something pretty much bespoke. If you look closely, you’ll see that we’ve taken the Kitchener FC crest and created a tonal pattern running through the shirt. We’ve also taken one of our ‘off the shelf’ #PowerUp jersey designs and applied it to the front (complete with Kitlocker sponsor). This design is due to debut on Kitlocker.com in the next couple of days, we call it “Aero”. We’ve finished off the jersey with a striking back name/number font which compliments the modern feel of the shirt perfectly.
