Welcome to the next instalment of our new series of podcasts, the Kitlocker.com Club Series!

Over the last couple of months we’ve chatted to some fascinating people from a wide range of areas within grassroots football and beyond.

In what will surely be a popular episode, we talk to Lee Edmondson (researcher at Sheffield Hallam University) and Jonny Wilson (Harworth Colliery FC), who have experience of grassroots grants and funding from different perspectives.

There are lots of grants out there which people may not know about, so we spend an hour talking about these, how to apply for them and what it could mean for your club.

We get the information straight from the horses mouth with Jonny, who has successfully received funding on numerous occasions for different reasons.

Whilst Jonny has had successes, he has had failures too, where he talks about the feedback he received to make his future applications even stronger.
