We’re sure you all know Grenfell Athletic’s story by now. If you don’t, then it’s well worth finding out more. They are a club born out of tragedy but have blossomed into something beautiful for their community. In the process they’ve attracted support from superstars of sport, music and even Hollywood.

Kitlocker.com now enters it’s third season of supporting Grenfell Athletic with their kit requirements. We offer a retail platform which GAFC have worked hard to direct traffic and supporters towards. And because we’ve relinquished all profit on Grenfell products, we’ve paid over £25,000 to the club over the last two years. This has helped them create some awesome memories and remain as a fully sustainable asset to the local community.

Here’s club founder Rupert Taylor talking about the value of the GAFC’s partnership with Kitlocker.com ⬇️

Highlights from the club’s short but eventful history so far include the team winning trophies (inc. a league title), launching their women’s team where they won the TFG cup in their debut game(s) and Harry Kane supporting the cause by donning a shirt on his Instagram story (this directly raised more than £1,000).

We also donated 100 shirts to their football shirt amnesty, in which community members could trade their old football shirts for a brand new Grenfell Athletic one.

For the club’s home shirt, we went into unchartered territory by wrapping the Grenfell dragon around the Nike swoosh to really amalgamate the partnership. The guys at Nike are rightfully protective of their brand, so it says a lot that they were fully behind the idea, which was the first of it’s kind at a grassroots level.

The shirt is still available for football kit lovers and collectors alike, with all profits going towards the continued development of the club. And keep your eyes peeled for the new shirt dropping early Autumn.

“People support our movement, they support our journey. Kitlocker are a vehicle that allow us to pump out our kits to as many people that want them.

So thank you Kitlocker for all the hard work you do for Grenfell Athletic. Long may it continue. It’s only the beginning of a long and prosperous partnership.” Rupert Taylor, Grenfell Athletic Founder.

We’re all incredibly excited about what the future holds for Grenfell Athletic FC and how our partnership will continue to develop. The club has BIG plans for the coming season and beyond. We’ll continue to support them all the way with first class service and beautiful kits.

Give the guys a follow on Insta to keep tabs on their progress 💚
