We’ve been working with the incredible people at Football Beyond Borders or a couple of years now and we’ve enjoyed every minute.
But if you’ve never heard of them, we’ll let them explain in their own words what it is they do…
“FBB supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are passionate about football but disengaged at school in order to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. We do this by providing long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.”
Last academic year, they delivered their FBB Schools programme to more than 1,000 students across their 55 projects in 36 schools across London, Essex and the North West.
They also have the backing of some big names from the world of football, including Roma’s Chris Smalling, Kick It Out’s Troy Townsend and journalist Guillem Balague.

During their summer holiday programme, the talented FBB kids put their heads together and created 8 unique truly unique football shirts. All of the shirts were created in order to reflect their values and what they represent.
They were given a helping hand by some of the genius designers from Art of Football who helped to bring their team identities to life. Check out all 8 original designs below 👇
The creations took to the field recently during a tournament at Loughborough University which brought together FBB teams from North and South.
