There isn’t any single person or organisation that hasn’t been affected by the events of the last few weeks and grassroots sport is no different.

So in order to lend a hand, we came up with the idea of #SupportYourLocalClub. The goal was to help sports clubs keep themselves ticking over financially during these challenging times through the sale of branded hoodies and t-shirts.

We would have been happy with just helping a few clubs raise some extra money but the response we’ve had from the grassroots sporting community has been nothing short of incredible!

So far, we’ve seen 28 clubs (and counting) sign up to the scheme and get their products online. We’ve got no intention of stopping, so we’re hoping that this number will continue to rise over the coming weeks.

We’ve seen clubs of all sports and all sizes sign up so far. From cricket clubs, to non-league football clubs, to netball teams. The campaign is open to any club that needs a little helping hand over these strange and uncertain times. We’ve even got the world’s oldest football club Sheffield FC involved! They’ve put their own twist on it and will be donating their proceeds to a local NHS charity.

Hundreds of #SupportYourLocalClub items have been sold so far with a big chunk of each sale going back to the clubs involved. If you’re one of the generous people purchasing a hoodie or t-shirt in aid of your local club, then give yourself a big pat on the back.

Those sales have resulted in thousands of pounds going back into keeping grassroots clubs afloat. Again, we’ve got no intention of stopping here. We want to help as many clubs as possible, so if you’re involved with a sports club or you know of a club in need, then please let us know.

You can sign up below, or just give us a shout on our socials. And if you want to know a bit more about the details of the scheme then click here.
