New Season, New Match Shirts…
This year’s catalogue introduces us to three brand new match shirts. Also, good news for fans of the Challenge II, Striped Division III, Trophy III, Park Derby II, Tiempo Premier and ever popular Park VI as they will be sticking around for another season at least. The Women’s Park is also back to provide a women’s fit option, as well as the ‘Little Kids’ Park Kit to cater for the next generation of wonderkids.
Lets take a look at some of the new kids on the block…

The new Legend match shirt is one of the most eye-catching of the new selection, especially if like us; you have warm and fuzzy nostalgic memories of the 2002 World Cup. This shirt takes inspiration from the kits worn by the likes of South Korea, Portugal and most memorably the champions Brazil.
Designed to give a modern take on that classic kit with those familiar collar and under arm features. Recreating the goals of Ronaldo (the original one) in the muddy parks of Sheffield and Southend is more realistic than ever with the Legend jersey. Daft haircut optional…
This one is for any fans of the French World Cup winning kit. The Vapor II is top of the range in terms of budget but the quality of the garment really shines through in the flesh. Very much a “Pro-Fit” feel provided by Nike’s VaporKnit technology, which combines precision fit with a cool and comfortable feel.
The shirt features raglan sleeves with speed blur design promoting freedom of movement. The streamlined nature of the jersey perhaps makes this one more of an option for those with an athletic body shape than those of us whose shape is a little more Sunday League…
If you like the look of the Vapor II but are working to a slightly stricter budget then it might be worth a look at the new Strike jersey. Very similar in terms of aesthetic design with its raglan sleeves however this one is slightly more dad-bod friendly. Nike Dri-fit material helps you stay dry and comfortable in the heat of the battle.
There’s also a welcome addition to the catalogue for anyone looking to wear short sleeve shirts, whilst keeping warm…

The new Nike First Layer is a slightly looser fitting alternative to the traditional baselayer or compression top. Available in an incredible rainbow of 14 colourways, meaning all club colours are catered for. The stretchy, smooth fabric provides minimal friction and maximum comfort and zero distractions from your game.
Building a team identity is about more than just what you wear on the pitch. Turning up to matches and training in a fresh set of team tracksuits or jackets not only looks more professional but lets the opposition know that you mean business, especially when you’re donning the Swoosh. Even if you’re feeling a little worse for wear from the night before, it’s all about appearances…
The Academy 18, Women’s Academy 18 and Park 18 ranges are still available. Our focus is the new Nike Academy 19 range which features a vast array of options for kitting out your club for the new season.

If you’re looking for a versatile and stylish training shirt then look no further than the Academy 19 Training Top, featuring raglan sleeves, mesh back and a hollow outline version of the Nike swoosh embroidered on the chest. This version of the logo is a theme throughout the range, as is the colour selection which features a number of pastel shades.
Or if you’re after something a bit smarter, the new Academy 19 Polo strikes the perfect balance between a performance garment and a traditional polo shirt. Mesh sides and Dri-FIT technology promote breathability while a smart collar and button provide a clean cut look.

If a good old fashioned team tracksuit is what you’re after then you are catered for with a number of options from this range. There are two training pants to choose from – ‘Knitted’ and ‘Woven’. The knitted pant provides a slightly closer fit with a stretchier feel than the woven pant. Whichever material you go for, both feature zip pockets, elastic waistband and a go faster stripe down each leg. There are also woven and knit options when it comes to the top half of your new team ensemble. The Woven and Knit Academy 19 Track Jackets come with a full front zip, side pockets and matching go faster stripe on the sleeves.
If you’re after something a little different to the traditional tracksuit jacket then check out the Academy 19 Drill Top. If a tracksuit jacket and a sweatshirt made love this is what you would get…
This year’s reincarnation of the classic midlayer features a ¼ zip for ventilation with stretchy material and mesh side strips to aid both freedom of movement and ventilation.

Whether you’re looking to kit out your whole club or just looking for some additions to your own wardrobe, then the new Nike Lifestyle range is a good place to start. Featuring all of the classics from the previous Nike leisurewear ranges such as sweatshirts, hoodies and sweatpants kept fresh with new design elements. For example the draw-cord on the Team Club 19 Hoodie, Full-Zip Hoodie, Short and Pant is now an alternate colour.

A welcome new addition is the Team Club 19 Short which fuses a casual pair of pocketed shorts with the material of a sweatpant. This creates a short with a soft comfort provided by French Terry fabric. The new Team Club 19 Polo incorporates a thin stripe around the edge of the collar and sleeve, which makes it slightly more interesting to look at than it’s plainer older brothers from previous catalogues.
Safe to say Nike have delivered as they always do with this year’s teamwear range. To check out the whole shebang, also featuring new footballs, accessories and more click below to see the full catalogue online:
