New Year, New Nike Match Kits 👕
Welcoming in a New Year means lots of different things to lots of people. Starting afresh, resolutions and all that stuff. But to us in the football kit game it means one thing… The release of a new Nike teamwear catalogue!
And trust us, when you see some of the gear in the new ranges, you’ll be just as excited as we are…
Arguably the most important and exciting new products can be found in the match kit department and that’s where we are kicking things off. If you’re thinking of a mid-season kit change then it’s your lucky day. If not, then there’s plenty to think about here ahead of the summer.
We’ll walk you through the rest of the releases in due course, but for now, here are four new football shirts just waiting for your team’s badge (to be applied by your favourite teamwear supplier of course).

Nike Vapor IV Jersey
The latest incarnation of the Nike Vapor jersey is an example of premium football shirt engineering. A field that Nike have led the way on for years.
The shirt has to be seen in the flesh (so to speak) to be truly appreciated. It is at the higher end of the price range but if your club does have the resources then the Nike Vapor IV is worth every penny.
The boasts a lightweight design with plenty of stretch to give you unrestricted movement. It features the usual Dri-FIT technology to keep you dry and comfortable but one unusual feature is the silicone transfer Nike Swoosh logo. Most teamwear shirts feature an embroidered Swoosh but the silicone version gives a more contemporary look worn by most professional clubs.
Nike Strike III Jersey
The various editions of the Nike Strike jerseys have been firm favourites in recent years and we reckon the third installment will be no exception to that.
Engineered to perfection but perhaps with a little more design flair than the Vapor IV jersey. The Strike III features a shoulder panel that provides a variation in colour (apart from the all-black and all-white colourways) and intricate graphic detailing.
It’s a template that has been used by countless club and international teams in the pro game and it’s easy to see why it has been such a popular choice.
The Strike III is designed to help you keep your cool during the heat of battle. It has all of the benefits of Dri-FIT, plus mesh panels on the back and underarm areas to improve breathability.
The Nike Strike III shirt is also available in women’s fit.
Nike Precision VI Jersey
The Nike Precision VI Jersey is probably the most eye-catching of this year’s new kits and not for the faint-hearted.
This new match shirt is available in five very bold designs. If you’re after a kit that’ll really make a statement then this is the one for you. The all over pattern on the front is certain to turn heads in Sunday League.
It features a slim, streamlined fit and has all of the usual Dri-FIT technology to keep you and all of your team-mates comfortable on match day.
Nike Trophy V Jersey
Last of the new shirts, but certainly not least is the Nike Trophy V Jersey. There’s something for every club with this shirt with a whopping 11 different colourways to choose from.
The latest edition of the Nike Trophy series features a distinctive neck design with alternately coloured sleeves. Perfect for clubs that like to feature two different colours on their kit.
It’s also at the lowest price point of the new Nike kits but certainly doesn’t skimp on the quality of material or design. This one is perfect for any club that wants a quality, professional looking kit that doesn’t blow the budget.
